We at Discovery Public School are excited to launch a regular newsletter written and directed by our Juniors and Seniors. As an environmentally-focused school, under the guidance of our authorizer, Osprey Wilds, we are thrilled that our students have the opportunity to identify and investigate issues that feel important to them and to our mission. We hope this process empowers our students to look further into current events and think critically about the media they are consuming.
Every few weeks, students create a new issue of their newsletter. Each issue included articles and other media that encourage readers to think critically about each topic and the environmental issues related to each. The first issue explored Water.
