Meet the Candidates!
School Board Elections will be held on May 15, 2025 at our Annual Meeting. The meeting is held in the cafeteria of Discover Public School and is scheduled to start at 5:30 pm. Ballots will be accepted in the school office until 4:00 pm on that date.
Russ Kennedy
Russ Kennedy has been a member of the DPS school board for almost twenty years. He has been chairman of the board for most of that time.
Personal Statement: I want to be re-elected to the school board because I care deeply about the school and the students it serves. If elected I look forward to advocating for our students, families, educators, and community as I always have.
Ally Luthe
Ally has been a member of the DPS school board for about a year. She is a valued member of the board.
Personal Statement: I want to be re-elected to the school board because I’m committed to the success of our students and our school community. I’ve worked hard to make sure that every student has access to a high-quality education and a supportive environment. I will continue to listen to families, staff, and students when making decisions.
