“The most important thing students can learn at school is critical thinking. Education is about learning new things and being open to new ideas. I hope to give just enough of a truth that will inspire students to seek answers on their own. My classes include a mix of classic literature and contemporary literature. I hope to help students develop critical thinking skills that will not only help them in higher education, but in life. Things are not always what they seem, and literature is a great vehicle to teach that.”
